TALES FROM THE SILVER SCREEN: Violinists Jinjoo Cho & Hao Zhao with ENCORE Camerata

  • Dodero Center for Performing Arts 2045 Som Center Road Gates Mills, OH, 44040 United States (map)

What would the world of cinematography be without music? Music is the finishing touch that brings the stories on the screen to life. ENCORE Artistic Director Jinjoo Cho curated this violin-centric concert, combining ear-catching works often heard from the silver screen, in conjunction with two violins & chamber orchestra concerto works by Alfred Schnittke, who is arguably the most original and prolific Soviet composers of the 20th Century. He was constantly breaking new grounds of music and was a renowned film composer producing nearly 70 scores in his lifetime.

Please note that a livestream will not be available for this concert
