A special FOURTH OF JULY event, Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park CEO Deb Yandala spoke about the 1960's "Parks to the People" movement and the history of land conservation in Ohio! ENCORE musicians perform the sublime American classic, Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland, followed by a fiery bluegrass set by 2019 GRAMMY Winner Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper.

Cleveland State University Professor Emeritus Dr. Lee Makela explored the author’s unique literary style of metaphors and symbolism, followed by dramatic readings of Murakami Haruki’s novels (actress Martinique Mims, Maelstrom Collective) and performances of musical works that appear in his works, including the iconic Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night) by Arnold Schoenberg.
